Welcome to A Child’s Song’s online education programs. We are honoured to be part of your learning journey. A Child’s Song provides consultation, education, and therapeutic services for foster, adoptive, and next of kin families as well as the professionals who support them. Our goal is to meet the educational needs of both families and professionals through accessible online education.

Adoption Education Series

AES-Online is a course designed specifically for prospective adoptive parents and covers important information about the adoption process, the experiences of children in care and the unique needs of children who join a family through adoption.

AES-Online takes place over 10 weeks and fulfills the legal requirements for adoption education in Manitoba. A Winnipeg Child and Family Services caseworker will provide approved participants with a username and password that will allow access to this course. Each module will be available to you for 1 week at which time you will have access to all the information and resources provided. There will be 5 one-hour live discussions that take place throughout the course. Information on how to access the discussions will be provided to you by email.
